Working in the Graphics Dept. at school definatly has it's perks. My favorite of them all is the part-time job of taking photos for the yearbook. Not only is it my first gig getting paid to take pictures, but I get to borrow the school's amazing camera for lengths of time when there are lots of activities at the school going on. I love my job.
A lot of my pictures recently have been and will continue to be taken on this camera. It's amazingly better than my little hand-held. I have, however, also purchased an old, completely manual Minolta X-370 that I'm working on figuring out how to use. The next step right now is just to buy it some working batteries and I should be good to go.
Cameras are such fun.
I know I've been posting almost nothing but shots of children lately. There are sixteen shots featured of the Curry children as it is, but trust me - they took a lot more amazing shots than that. I've just had some great oppertunities for shots of really adorable children lately, and I couldn't pass it up.
Nonetheless, I promise a change in direction soon. I have a few awesome shots of a couple of friends that I want to put up, and hopefully I'll be able to borrow the schools camera again real soon.
